BEAUTIFUL BARCELONA

Like I mentioned in a previous post last month I visited Barcelona with my wife and we were completely amazed by everything we saw, especially all that relates to Gaudi.

INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION - HOTEL D. INES COIMBRA

A good way to get a portfolio is to contact people and offer your services. Last year I sent emails to a few hotels and hostels in my area saying that I was building my portfoilio and if they would be interested in a photo shoot in their hotels. The agreement was that if they liked the photos and wanted to keep them them, we would came to a fair price.

One of the Hotels that I shot was Hotel D. Inês, in Coimbra, Portugal. Here are some of the photos that I took.

500PX

Since I started taking photography more seriously I've been testing some Photo sharing sites and for now the one that I find the best one is 500PX. The biggest difference compared to other sites is that people do not use this site to dump all their photos, only the best, so when you do a photo search the quality of the results is quite interesting. The other reason that I find this site interesting is the process for selling photos.

IN THE STREETS OF BARCELONA

Last month me and my wife had the pleasure to visit Barcelona. It was the second time for me there but on the first visit I was to young to urderstand the beauty of that city. In these three days I took a lot of photos. I planned most of them but also took a lot as we walked in The Streets of Barcelona.

MATERNITY SESSION

     One good way to find some models for you to shoot is to ask a member of your family to pose for you. In this case it was the opposite, a member from my family asked me to shoot some photos of her. A excelent opportunity to do some maternity photos. Maybe I'll get a newborn photoshoot soon :)

It was a simple photoshoot with no preparation at all. All I did was to search online for some ideas and hoped to get some ideas as we went on.

It was a indoor photoshoot and I used my Canon 70D body with a Canon 85mm F1.8 USM lens and for lighting  a off camera Canon 430EX Speedlight.
